After listening to and (most importantly) watching this music video, I was able to see how it is an illustration of some of the information covered in this weeks lecture. Communication takes place on many levels and there many different ways it can be conveyed, verbal language, body language, para-language etc. In the video, MC Hammer is telling the viewer he is the best, he is number one and he communicates this in a number of ways. The opening seconds of the video show us other celebrities naming him as the best, he also tells us this with his lyric. He also uses his body language (dancing, facial expressions) and that of his back up dancers to illustrate this.
